As a Business and Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in the success of our custom projects. Reporting to the Development Team Lead, you will work closely with our clients as well as the sales, project management, quality assurance, and programming teams to define the documentation required for optimal solution delivery. Through your actions, you will help embody and communicate the company’s vision and values.

Job Description

In this role, under the supervision of the Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Meet with clients to gather, analyze, and understand their business needs.

• Translate these needs into functional IT solutions adapted to various business sectors and contexts.

• Participate in preparing estimates for proposals, in collaboration with the sales team.

• Draft functional requirements documentation after sales are finalized, enabling the development team to carry out work according to expectations.

• Conduct quality analyses to ensure requirements outlined in the statement of work have been correctly executed, in collaboration with the quality assurance team when needed.

• Analyze and quantify change requests and improvement requests, and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Ensure the creation, updating, and modification of documentation and project files.

• Write user guides for end users.

• Conduct demonstrations and provide training on developed systems.

• Provide support to team members and contribute to certain management support tasks.

• Occasionally travel to client sites for specific assignments, when required.
  

Desired Profile

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of development frameworks: .NET (C#), ASP.NET, and Visual Studio tools.

• Strong interest in AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.).

• Familiarity with Agile development (an asset).

Personal Skills:

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Curiosity and adaptability to various development contexts.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Team spirit, attention to detail, and rigor in task execution.

Expérience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Mastery of French (written, spoken, comprehension) is essential. English is an asset, as some clients are English-only speakers.
