As IT Director, you will hold a key strategic and operational role where leadership, vision, and close collaboration with field teams are essential. You will be responsible for mobilizing technical teams toward excellence while remaining actively involved in operations and the evolution of services.
Working closely with the President and the executive committee, you will contribute to defining and evolving the company’s technological vision, ensuring the performance and quality of managed services (MSP), while supporting Kezber’s long term growth and ambitions.
This position is intended for a leader with strong technical expertise, an excellent understanding of business challenges, and a human centered leadership approach. Job description
As a key member of the executive committee, the IT Director plays a central role in the company’s technological evolution and operational performance. Responsible for IT operations and service excellence, this individual actively contributes to Kezber’s strategic direction while ensuring strong leadership and team mobilization across operations.
This role combines strategic vision, governance, people leadership, and hands on operational expertise within a fast evolving MSP environment where collaboration, innovation, and execution quality are essential.
Strategic Leadership and Technology Governance
Participate in the executive committee and actively contribute to the company’s strategic and technological direction.
Establish, communicate, and drive the technological vision in alignment with business objectives.
Guide the evolution of the MSP service delivery model and the development of new service offerings.
Directly oversee managers responsible for Customer Support, Infrastructure, Security, and IT Projects.
Support team leaders in mobilizing their teams, developing talent, and achieving objectives.
Be accountable for financial indicators related to IT operations and ensure the profitability of managed services by optimizing processes, resources, and service margins.
IT Operations Management in an MSP Environment
Ensure the performance and reliability of IT operations including availability, security, client satisfaction, and profitability.
Ensure compliance and standardization of service delivery processes (ITIL, ISO, SLO/SLA).
Oversee the planning and execution of client projects including prioritization, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
Manage operational and financial performance indicators (KPIs, margins, profitability, team capacity, SLA compliance) to support healthy and controlled operational growth.
Ensure service quality, smooth communication, and rapid execution.
Maintain strategic relationships with key clients, suppliers, and technology partners.
Security, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
Define and oversee cybersecurity strategy for both internal and client environments.
Lead internal audit initiatives (ISO, policies, business continuity plans).
Ensure the maintenance and evolution of technical and operational documentation.
Drive continuous improvement of internal tools, processes, and practices.
Innovation and Practice Development
Evaluate and deploy new technologies that improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and digital transformation.
Collaborate with other departments to support cross functional innovation projects.
Maintain ongoing awareness of MSP industry trends and adapt practices to align with best market standards.
Desired profile
We are seeking a strategic and inspiring leader with the following qualifications and skills.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, and IT security environments.
Experience with MSP platforms including RMM, PSA tools such as ConnectWise, N Able, and Autotask, as well as monitoring solutions.
Strong understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network architectures.
Experience in project portfolio management and IT governance.

Experience and Qualifications :
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, including 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of MSP models and cloud/hybrid environments.
University degree in computer science, software engineering, business administration, or a related field.
ITIL, PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written, is required to communicate with certain English only clients and suppliers.
Proven leadership, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence strategic direction.
Valid driver’s license required for occasional travel.
